INFO

  1. HOW IS MY CHILD GOING TO MAKE AN ESCAPE ROOM?

  • During the school year we run a week-long program in schools called an artist in residence. Summer camp looks very similar to this process. We have helped over 6000 students build more than 50 escape rooms since 2017. Check out our blog to see examples of rooms we’ve made over the years.

  • Our process consists of 4 phases over 5 days:

    • Acclimation (Monday) - Campers solve at least two of our Escape Rooms and get familiar with the medium.

    • Ideation (Monday & Tuesday) - Campers start to prototype and blueprint their own escape room

    • Construction (Tuesday-Thursday) - Campers collaboratively build an actual escape room in the community centre

    • Exhibition (Friday) - Campers test out and refine their escape room and then friends and family are invited to solve the escape room on Friday between 3:30-5:30pm

  • We provide the expertise, as well as all the materials and supplies such as:

    • Locks, boxes, lights, speakers etc.

    • Sensors, switches, computers, and other fun gadgets

    • Pipe and drape curtains to create walls

    • All the necessary craft materials and supplies

2. WHY CHOOSE MOBILE ESCAPE’S SUMMER CAMP?

Tired of the same old camp themes? So are we! Imagine a summer camp where your child becomes the mastermind behind their adventure, designing challenges and unraveling mysteries. Mobile Escape Day Camps is more than just a camp; it's an immersive journey into creativity, problem-solving, and pure excitement!

3. WHO IS THIS SUMMER CAMP BEST SUITED FOR?

  • Kids ages 8-12 who love making things: Every camper will be a maker for the week.

    • Hands-on explorers: Ranging from using glue, tape, scissors, and cardboard, and any other recyclable materials imaginable kids will use these materials to design and build a physical escape room.

    • Creative imagineers: At Mobile Escape, we’re all about giving the kids as much autonomy as possible. We will use our expertise to guide and facilitate the process, but we let the kids be the makers.

    • Brainy puzzlers: If your child loves escape rooms, solving puzzles or problems and thinking through complex puzzles, this is right up their alley.
