Escape Mail Development: 3-Month Update

Around the World in Eighty Days (Give or Take)

Three months and 3500 orders later I think I can safely say we’ve suffered more paper cuts in this span of time than our entire lives! These paper cuts aren’t just disproportionately painful reminders to be careful, they are tangible milestones of progress. In this short time, we have fully developed almost half of our first year-long season and we have been able to put some of our pre-COVID-19 staff back to work safely prepping episodes for shipping. We have been shipping episodes all over North America, the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand! We are excited to continue producing this season, and we may even have a few surprises for you in store down the road.

Peekaboo! An escape room for you!

Speaking of surprises, we have discovered something about our customers that absolutely thrills us - so many subscriptions, bundles, and single episodes of Escape Mail have been bought as gifts. On an even more thrilling note, we have had a considerable number of those gifts sent anonymously! Who doesn’t love surprise gifts? Receiving mysterious packages that are personally addressed is an enticing prospect. I love receiving emails or phone calls from a customer saying “Umm, I didn’t buy this. Were you sending these out for free?” And from there, their escape game adventure continues. We have seen gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, mothers’ day, fathers’ day, and date nights. Regardless of the occasion, an hour or two of adventure is a fantastic way to spend your time.

A big thanks to every puzzler who has engaged with Escape Mail so far.

We love to hear what you think either on Instagram, Facebook, in Google Reviews or directly on our site!

Happy puzzling!
