where to begin?
start with episodes 1 and 2
Welcome to Escape Mail, Season 1. This Starter Bundle includes Episodes 1 and 2 in this award-winning puzzle series. Each episode is quite different in style, theme, difficulty and puzzle type. Episode 1 is where the adventure begins with an encrypted introduction to a long-lost relative - Joshua Jordan Fitzpatrick. Episode 2 picks up on the cliffhanger ending and brings you to JJ in a perilous situation where he needs your help!
How do I play?
1. Open the envelope! Everything you need to get started is inside.
2. Solve escape room-style puzzles, find clues, and crack codes. It’s a self-guided adventure.
3. Repeat and play the next episode in the Season. Binge or subscribe.

Experience requires users to access internet, scan QR codes, cut precisely with scissors, and send an email.
A note about difficulty
Because of the handy dandy /hints page, you get to determine how much support you need to solve the puzzles. Each puzzle has a small, medium, and large hint, as well as the answer. For users under 10 years of age, the entire experience is recommended with an adult. The “Standard” and “Beginner” versions ship with a process or flow card, to help guide users through the puzzle. The “Expert” version does not include this support.

Style of Puzzle
Like all of our puzzles, we make every effort to use various mediums and materials to be as interdisciplinary as possible. We do that because we believe it creates the most well-rounded, robust and satisfying puzzle experience. Episode 1 incorporate more physical and hands-on elements as well as attention to detail and reading/counting. Episode 2 features more digital aspects, although this envelope has the highest number of items in any Episode.
