After a harrowing cliffhanger in Episode 1, we’re back with cousin JJ in Episode 2. You find that he has been taken hostage by the Hunters but is alive and communicating with you. He’s even sent you an emergency protocol package with which to rescue him. Do you have what it takes to release your cousin from captivity?
How do I play?
1. Open the envelope! Everything you need to get started is inside.
2. Solve escape room-style puzzles, find clues, and crack codes. It’s a self-guided adventure.
3. Repeat and play the next episode in the Season. Binge or subscribe.

Experience requires users to shade with pencil (bring an eraser!), use a search engine, scan QR codes on a smart phone, and cut precisely with scissors.
A note about difficulty
Because of the handy dandy /hints page, you get to determine how much support you need to solve the puzzles. Each puzzle has a small, medium, and large hint, as well as the answer. For users under 10 years of age, the entire experience is recommended with an adult. The “Standard” and “Beginner” versions ship with a process or flow card, to help guide users through the puzzle. The “Expert” version does not include this support.

Style of Puzzle
Like all of our puzzles, we make every effort to use various mediums and materials to be as interdisciplinary as possible. We do that because we believe it creates the most well-rounded, robust and satisfying puzzle experience. However, this particular puzzle does incorporate more digital/online elements than most of our puzzles. If you are looking to purchase a single episode and your style leans more toward the digital/technology focus, then this episode is for you.
