Palliser District Teacher's Expo

Mobile Escape just finished two awesome days at the Palliser Teacher's Convention where over 100 groups of teachers tried their best to escape the Grades 5 and 6 educational escape room. They had their work cut out for them with only 5 minutes to crack the safe. Clues involved magnetism and electricity (Grade 5) as well as evidence and investigation (Grade 6).

Most groups figured out that the trailer was magnetic and pulled the compass needle.

Fingerprints are fascinating. Teachers had to identify what patterns corresponded to the labels in order to find the 4-digit combination.

Everyone had fun, which was great to see. There was also some pretty impressive groups out there. Congratulations to Michelle Kulmatycky from Eckshaw and her team for their astounding 2:40 time.

Way to go teams!

It was amazing to see how many teachers are looking for something creative and different to offer their students. Way to go you guys!

We're entering all those who completed the room into a draw for a free field trip giveaway! Stay tuned for that. In the meantime, here are some more pictures from the Convention. See you soon!
